Pull off palazzo like a pro

Winters in London or other places too,  leave fashion constricted to jeans and stockings and stuff like that . Even there is an astringing possibility in the aspect of colours and prints . Lucky me ! Here comes the spring 🌻 A time of the year when I can experiment fashion and trick trends . I can play with colours , fabrics , prints , shapes , sizes and everything else in between.

So in this particular blog I wish to blurt out my boho vibe and my fetish for palazzoes . I am so happy that the wide leg trousers and high waisted palazzo pants trend didn’t vanish after the Fashion Week ended. They seem to be back in fashion after being popular in the 1960s and 1970S. They flatter the waist and suit your look wherever you go – work, play or party.Starting with your work place which demands sober and formal dressing, to high street grungy fashion with a casual look- these trousers for women are for any place. They can be worked out for the street style and formal look with equal panache.Palazzo pants are very fashionable, but they might be hard to pull off. If worn with the wrong garment, you might end up swimming in a swathe of fabric. Since these are loose garments, they look best when paired with a well-fitted top. Palazzoes are an ironic blend of rustic and feminine touch. With little bit understanding of colours and prints you can rock the Palazzo look like a pro. Polka dots, patterns, prints or solid colours, you can fill your fashion plate with palazzos that will do justice to your overall look for the occasion. You can also tuck the top in for that lengthening effect and clinch your waist with a sleek belt. A casual crop top is also a great way to keep the look casual . To try a formal look it’s great to wear a classy blazer on your tucked in shirt , paired with strapped heels or silletoes.

In my opinion it is better to be a little safe when trying on prints (the gift of spring ). The key to wear prints while having a palazzo look is to have only ONE printed element in your ensemble . If both , palazzo and the top have prints , it may look cluttered (but again it’s never too late to experiment) .My favourite hack is to wear flowy plain pallazoes with bold printed tops – that really creates a fashion statement . Strapped sandals , clobber heels, chunky platforms, casual flats, oxford boots or wedges are perfect footwear options with your palazzo pants. Well what it means is , that it isn’t a lot of headache to decide a lot on what footwear to pair with them , but yes the footwear in itself will make a difference to the whole look -casual,classy or formal .

Spring is here and so is the time to ditch denims and stockings . Go for the newfangled wide pants and let loose your creativity to style yourself with different combinations and contrasts and more . Share your ideas here and I will be coming up with many more spring fashion details 🌻

Happy Palazzoing !
